I have battery packs (or whatever you want to call them) to power my iPad when I get caught with a low charge. The original, straight-out connectors are great for normal charging, but not so great for use while still using the iPad. This cable has a 90 degree bend that allows me to keep using the iPad without damaging the port or the cable and without poking me in the lap while using it. I'm very happy with it.

It is incredibly stiff. Almost too much so. It concerns me that the stiffness of the cable will put undue stress on the port when it is plugged in. So, I don��t try to use the charging cable while using my device.

Good quality charging cables. Unfortunately the reason I bought it for was to charge my cellphone and the phone case does not have large enough room for the 90 degree connector to fit in. Otherwise this cord works on iPad and other phones w/o a case just fine.

This charger was just what I needed so I could use my tablet in bed, with it resting on my stomach (right where the power cord comes out!) Some apps won't change orientation. I have not had it long, but I can attest that it fast charges, and all parts of the cord and terminals appear to be strong and durable. I would definitely buy this brand again.
